Are the Kiwis Being Saved?

The tiny and adorable kiwi birds living in New Zealand were once almost on the brink of disappearing! But now, the kiwi bird population is growing again, and that’s fantastic news!

Famous for laying eggs almost as big as themselves, kiwi birds are cute little creatures that can’t fly. They have wings, but they don't really like to use them. They’re like nighttime heroes, going out to find food under the stars! Once, their numbers had dropped a lot because other animals were harming their nests. But the people of New Zealand came up with many plans to help the kiwi birds. Now, the kiwis are safer, and their population is starting to grow again!
