Apple Orange Banana
Apple Orange Banana

All participants stand in a circle in a wide area. Everyone stays on their feet, focusing carefully on listening to the instructor’s or leader’s commands. The aim of the game is to perform the physical movements that match the given fruit names as quickly and accurately as possible.
The instructor loudly and randomly calls out one of the words “apple”, “orange”, or “banana”. When “apple” is called, all players take one step forward. When “orange” is called, everyone takes one step back. When “banana” is called, all players turn 180 degrees on the spot to face the opposite direction.
As the game speeds up, participants’ attention and reaction times are challenged. When the instructor starts giving commands quickly one after another, players’ reflexes, coordination, and focus skills are seriously tested. Those who make mistakes or respond too slowly may be eliminated from the game, or at the end of the round, the player with the fewest mistakes can be applauded and rewarded. This game is a fun, energy-boosting, and attention-developing activity suitable for both children and adults.
