The Game

Before starting the game, a large circle is drawn on the ground. Players choose one tagger by counting-out and form a ring on the circle. The chosen tagger walks outside the circle, behind the players, touches the back of a selected player, and starts running in one direction.

The player whose back is touched runs in the opposite direction of the tagger. When they meet face-to-face, they shake hands and greet each other by saying “Good morning, hello, hi!..” Then both quickly try to reach the empty spot. If the tagger takes the empty spot, they are freed from being tagger, and the other player becomes the new tagger. However, if the tagger cannot take the empty spot, they remain as the tagger.

If the tagger and the other player forget to shake hands and greet each other when they meet, that player directly becomes the tagger. The game continues in this cycle.
