Pinecone Ponecone

Game Area: Grassy and open area (Avoid concrete surfaces).

Materials Needed: One stick and one pinecone per student.

Game Duration: 10-minute periods each

Game

It is preferred to play this game in an open and grassy area. If played on a concrete surface, it is recommended that students use protective gear such as knee pads and elbow pads in case of possible falls.

Students are divided into groups of 5. Two pits are dug at a distance from each other (this distance varies according to age group), which serve as the teams' goals. In the middle of the field, a circle is drawn and a pinecone is placed inside this circle.

The objective of the game is for players to use their sticks to push the pinecone in the middle into the opposing team's pit. The first team to reach 10 points wins the game.
