Sand Dart

Sand Dart is a simple and fun outdoor competition game. The game begins by drawing five concentric circles on a sandy or soil surface. These circles expand outward from the center, each carrying a specific point value. The innermost circle is worth 5 points, the next one 4 points, followed by 3, then 2, and the outermost circle is worth 1 point. The objective of the game is for players to throw stones from a designated distance and accumulate the highest score.

Each player takes turns throwing five stones. The points they earn correspond to the circle in which their stone lands. At the end of five throws, the player with the highest total score wins. If a stone lands on the boundary between two circles, the score is determined based on which circle the majority of the stone is in. If the stone lands exactly on a line, the referee or game supervisor decides which circle it should be counted in.

The game can be played individually or in groups. In group play, participants take turns throwing stones, and once all players have completed their throws, the scores are compared. If two or more players have the same score, a tiebreaker round is played. In this round, each player gets one additional throw, and the player with the highest score wins.

Sand Dart is both entertaining and an excellent way to improve hand-eye coordination. It requires strategy and precision, making it a game that people of all ages can enjoy. Since it is played outdoors, it provides a great opportunity to connect with nature and is ideal for open spaces such as beaches, parks, or gardens.
