Secret Codes
A fun game based on finding matching command cards, designed to support comprehension, instruction-following, and attention development. It should be played outdoors.
Objective of the Activity
To improve comprehension and instruction-following skills,
To enhance attention and focus,
To support environmental awareness by interacting with elements of nature.
The Game
The teacher prepares small pieces of paper; each paper has a command written on it (for example: “Take 3 steps forward, turn right, sit down”). There are two copies of each command.
The instructions may sometimes include elements of nature (for example: “Touch a flower, then jump twice”). The papers are distributed to the children.
Children perform their commands at the same time and try to find their partner—someone else performing the same command—within the group. Pairs who find each other signal the teacher or wait together in the designated area.
When all pairs have found their matches, the round ends, and the game continues with new commands.

Rules:
Commands are carried out simultaneously and in order; no pushing or rushing is allowed.
Pairs who find each other go to the designated waiting area and do not disturb the sequence.
Do not damage natural elements; follow safety rules while running or turning.
Attention!
The play area should be safe; any objects that could cause tripping or collisions should be removed, and enough space should be left for movement.
Commands should be age-appropriate, clear, and short; instructions involving contact with natural elements (flowers, leaves, etc.) should emphasize interacting without causing harm.
