The Wolf or The Lamb?
This game can be adapted to suit different age groups. It is a game that allows children to have fun while also enhancing their quick thinking, decision-making, and physical activity skills. The game should be played in an open area.
Objective of the Activity
To develop children's quick thinking and decision-making skills,
To strengthen communication skills through question-and-answer interaction,
To foster teamwork and collaboration among groups,
To combine fun learning with physical activity.
The Game
A straight line is drawn on the ground, with one side designated as wolves and the other side as lambs. Players start by standing on the line.
During the game, a question is asked by the teacher or a leader. The answer to the question must only be "Yes" or "No." For example, questions like "Is the fur of polar bears white?", "Are clouds made up of only water droplets?", or "Do seaweeds bloom flowers in the same way as land plants?" can be asked. Those who answer "Yes" move to the lambs' side of the line, while those who answer "No" move to the wolves' side.
When the correct answer is revealed, players on the correct side start running away, while those on the wrong side try to catch them. Caught players are eliminated for one round or wait in a designated area.
A new question is asked in each round, and the game continues. At the start of each round, players return to the line, and the game restarts in the same manner.
Rules:
Wait for the question to be answered before crossing the line.
Do not move until the answer is revealed.
Caught players must go to the waiting area as per the rules.
Attention!
It is important that the questions are appropriate for the age group of the children and entertaining.
The teacher or leader should explain the questions during the game to help children understand the correct and incorrect answers.
