The Game

Before the game begins, everyone forms a circle and stands up. The facilitator starts the activity by asking questions in the format of “Have you ever…?”. For example: “Have you ever ridden a horse?”, “Have you ever seen a turtle?”, “Have you ever raised a chicken?”
Participants who answer ‘yes’ take one step forward, while those who answer ‘no’ remain in place. Everyone who steps forward asks each other, “You too?”. With each new question, participants move again. Short reflections are taken from those who gather in the center. During this time, participants are encouraged to make eye contact and greet each other with a smile, fostering warm connections within the group.
The facilitator may continue with pre-prepared questions or invite one of the “yes” participants to create the next question. The questions should be light and non-intrusive, focusing on hobbies, experiences, or small habits.
For groups where standing up is not suitable, alternatives such as raising a finger, holding up a name card, or slightly leaning forward in place can be used. A variety of questions and maintaining a lively tempo keeps the game dynamic and inclusive.
