Jumping Story

Jumping Story

Participants form a large circle. The instructor starts the game by saying, “I was walking in the forest…” while making a walking movement. Everyone in the circle repeats this movement at the same time. Then it’s the next person’s turn. That person adds a new sentence to the story, for example: “I saw an apple on a branch, I jumped to try and get it,” and makes a jumping movement. The group also repeats this movement together. As the turn goes around the circle, each participant adds their own sentence and movement. In this way, the story develops both through words and movements. At the end of the game, the group enthusiastically performs all the actions in sequence, completing the fun story they created together with a lively finale.
